Yes. We remove old accessible caulk or silicone from the visible joint, clean and prep the surface, then apply fresh bathroom-grade waterproof silicone. New silicone should not be installed over loose, dirty, or failing old caulk.

Many single shower or bathtub jobs can be completed in one visit. Heavier removal, long joints, deep gaps, or multiple areas can take longer. We will give a time expectation after reviewing the photos and scope.

Plan to keep the repaired area dry for about 24 hours unless we tell you otherwise on site. Silicone needs time to cure properly, and using water too soon can weaken the seal or affect the finish.

Yes, if the black staining or mildew is on the old surface caulk. We remove the failing caulk and replace it with clean silicone. If mold is behind tile, inside walls, under flooring, or caused by ongoing moisture, a mold remediation or water-damage specialist may be needed.

Surface caulking helps seal visible joints, gaps, and seams. It does not repair plumbing leaks, broken shower pans, failed waterproofing, loose tile, or hidden water damage. If water is actively leaking from behind a wall or through a fixture, a plumber or specialist should inspect it first.

Please remove bottles, mats, shower curtains, loose items, and anything blocking the work area. The surface should be dry when possible. If the area was used recently, let us know so we can account for moisture during prep.

We use bathroom-grade waterproof silicone suited for wet areas like showers, tubs, sinks, backsplashes, and bathroom seams. The goal is a clean, flexible seal that handles normal movement and moisture better than basic painter's caulk.
